London's Turbulent Son
The Becket Pageant for London (2022)
The first Pageant in the City of London for over 500 years saw a cast of over 40 people- including a community chorus, two local primary school choirs, professional leads and 5-piece band- tell the story of Thomas Becket, patron saint of London, who was infamously murdered at Canterbury Cathedral in 1170.
The full length musical featured over 13 original numbers, and was part of the wider Becket Pageant for London, which included a Livery Crafts Fair- held at the historic Guildhall Yard, meters away from Thomas Becket's actual birth place.
